Infants
6 weeks - 18 months
Our infant care focuses on loving, caring for, and supporting babies in the many ways that they learn and grow in the first year of life. Our infant room teachers pay special attention to each child’s individual developmental needs, and recognizes the importance of communication and collaboration with parents and families. Infants in our care follow a daily routine of feedings, diaper changes, naps, outside time, and play time which includes music, singing, large motor, small motor, story time, and social-emotional experiences.

We can accommodate full-week or part-time schedules. Whether you choose a 2, 3, or 5 days a week schedule, the daily rate remains the same. We do not offer a half-day rate.

A Note About Naps
We follow Michigan Childcare Licensing standards for infant safe sleep. Infants must sleep in their crib, on their back, with no blankets, bottles, or other items. Babies may only sleep with a pacifier, and well-fitting sleep sacks are permitted. We may use baby’s blanket to rock and cuddle them down to sleep before placing them safely in their crib without it according to safe sleep practices. Babies who fall asleep in the stroller or the swing will be promptly moved to their crib to finish their nap. You can read more about infant safe sleep guidelines in our Parent Handbook and in the Michigan Childcare Licensing Rules.
